👩💻 About Me as a Designer
Collaboration is at the core of how I work. I believe the best solutions emerge when product, engineering, and design come together, so I keep a continuous loop of feedback and communication across teams. This helps ideas grow stronger through diverse perspectives and ensures we stay aligned from concept to launch.
While I’m always focused on the details of the project at hand, I never lose sight of the bigger picture, like how features connect to one another, how they support the product strategy, and how they shape the overall customer experience.
Research is also a key part of my process. I’m comfortable leading customer interviews and usability testing, and I believe the strongest designs are built around real user input, not assumptions.
At the same time, I bring a roll-up-my-sleeves attitude to my work. For me, design is about being proactive, adaptable, and willing to dig in wherever it’s needed to create the best possible outcome.
🌱 About Me as a Person
I was born in Scotland, UK and moved to the states at 14. This perspective has led me to enjoy traveling and experiencing different cultures. When I’m not designing, I’m spending my time crafting, trying new foods, and spending time with my friends, husband and chocolate lab Skye.
Fun fact: One of my special (yet not very useful) skills is recalling song lyrics and melodies on the spot.
